About MinecraftDrop

MinecraftDrop is an independent directory of Minecraft resources. We list mods, maps, shaders, and texture packs with verified metadata and direct links to original creator pages. We are not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

Why this site exists

Most Minecraft resource sites either dump hundreds of unverified links with no context, or bury downloads behind fake countdown timers and redirect chains. Neither is useful. We built MinecraftDrop around three rules: list fewer resources but verify each one, always link to the original source rather than mirroring files, and state clearly what we have and have not checked.

Every resource page lists its loader compatibility, the newest Minecraft version it was tested on, and the date the metadata was last verified. If we cannot confirm a detail, we write "Unknown" rather than guessing.

What we publish

• Mods for Java Edition on Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge.
• Maps for Java and Bedrock with edition, version, and install notes.
• Shaders for Iris and OptiFine with GPU tier guidance.
• Texture packs with resolution and performance notes.
• Guides covering installation, compatibility, and troubleshooting.

What we do not do

• We do not mirror files we do not have permission to distribute.
• We do not run countdown timers, fake "download" gates, or scan banners.
• We do not claim files are "virus-free" or "100% safe" — we do not scan them.
• We do not invent download counts, ratings, or reviews.
• We do not use the Minecraft logo, Mojang branding, or Microsoft branding.

How to report a problem

Every resource page has a report link for broken sources, incorrect compatibility data, copyright issues, or description errors. If you are a creator and want a resource removed or corrected, see the Copyright / DMCA page.
