Copyright & DMCA Policy
MinecraftDrop links to resources hosted by their creators. We do not mirror files we do not own. If you believe a resource on this site infringes your copyright, this page explains how to report it.
Creator removal requests
If you are the creator of a resource listed on MinecraftDrop and want it removed, you do not need to file a formal DMCA notice. Send a message through the contact page with the resource URL and a statement that you are the creator or an authorized representative. We will remove the listing within 5 business days.
DMCA takedown notice
If you are a copyright holder and the resource is listed without your permission, send a written notice that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material on MinecraftDrop that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL of the resource page.
- Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Send the notice to the contact address published in the footer of this page once it is set up. Do not send DMCA notices through the general contact form — they are handled separately.
What happens after we receive a notice
- We review the notice for completeness. An incomplete notice delays processing.
- If the notice is complete, we remove or disable the listing within 5 business days.
- We notify the person who submitted the original listing, if we have contact information for them.
- We document the removal and keep a record as required by law.
Counter-notice
If your resource was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which MinecraftDrop may be found.
Repeat infringers
MinecraftDrop does not knowingly list resources that infringe copyright. Sources that receive multiple valid DMCA notices are removed from the site and excluded from future listing.
Limitation of liability
This page describes our process. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure whether a resource infringes your rights, consult an attorney before filing a notice.
