What OneBlock is

OneBlock flips the SkyBlock concept. Instead of starting on a small island, you start on a single block floating in the sky. Breaking it spawns new materials, mobs, and structures. As you progress, the block transitions through phases, each themed around a biome, dimension, or structure .

The HardCore OneBlock variant on CurseForge is a polished implementation with 16 levels: Plains, Underground, Deep Cave, Snowy, Desert, Jungle, Barren Lands, Ocean, Pale Garden, Swamp & Cherry, Mansion, Nether, Trail Ruins, Ancient City, Stronghold, and Infinite (the endgame state) .

Phase progression

  • Early phases — Plains, Underground, Deep Cave. Basic resources.
  • Mid phases — Snowy, Desert, Jungle, Ocean. New mobs and materials.
  • Late phases — Mansion, Nether, Ancient City, Stronghold. Rare loot and challenges.
  • Endgame — Infinite. The block continues producing materials indefinitely .

Installation

  1. Download the OneBlock variant from CurseForge.
  2. Java: extract into .minecraft/saves.
  3. Bedrock: import the .mcworld file.
  4. Launch the world and break the first block.
Not to be confused with SkyBlock: SkyBlock starts on a small island with limited resources. OneBlock starts on a single regenerating block. The mechanics are different, though both are survival-focused.
