What Classic Faithful 32x is

Classic Faithful 32x is a fork of the main Faithful project. The fork was created to maintain the older texture style — the look Faithful had before the December 2025 update that added new textures and changed some existing ones .

If you liked Faithful before the recent changes and do not want copper chains, Warden hearts, or the new mob textures in your pack, this is the version to use. It is 32x resolution, same as the main Faithful, but with a different texture set.

Why use the fork instead of main Faithful

  • Older style — keeps the pre-2026 Faithful look .
  • Slower updates — less frequent changes to existing textures.
  • Specific version support — useful if the main Faithful has moved past your Minecraft version .

Installation

  1. Download the ZIP for your Minecraft version from CurseForge .
  2. Place the ZIP in .minecraft/resourcepacks. Do not unzip it.
  3. In-game: Options > Resource Packs. Move Classic Faithful 32x to the selected column.
  4. Click Done.
Main vs Classic: If you want the most up-to-date textures with the latest additions, use Faithful 32x. If you want the older look, use this pack. They cannot be loaded together — pick one.
